Discipleship Dojos

Haven Field Community Church
Discipleship Dojos are short term smaller group discipleship groups leading people to steps of action in growing more faithfully in the ways of Jesus.  Everyone in the church will be invited and groups may be for men, women, families, etc.  These groups may focus on specific relevant topics and typically meet for a few weeks.

We work out the vision and teachings of Jesus together in real life. Dojos are inspired by the life and teachings of Jesus. With each dojo experience a group of people commits time and energy to a set of practices. They engage in conversation with real needs in society and within themselves, which would involve accountability. Dojos also take time to reflect how these experiments can shape the ongoing rhythms of life.

Upcoming Dojos:

Mother-Daughter Dojo: Allison Stephens will be leading a monthly discipleship dojo for moms and their daughters, who are in 3rd - 5th grade.

Mothers and daughters are invited to Allison’s home (307 Edgewood Blvd, Homewood, 35209) from 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. on the first Sunday of every month throughout the school year.

"Heart to Heart: Growing lifelong relationships between mothers and daughters”, will be the source material that will guide moms and daughters through scripture to help establish a foundation for a strong relationship together.
